NerdyTechs Labs ("we," "us," or "our") operates FluxWatch, a remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform available at fluxwatch.io. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our services.
By using FluxWatch, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you register for a FluxWatch account, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Company or organization name
- Password (stored in hashed form)
1.2 Device and System Data
The FluxWatch agent, once installed on managed devices, collects the following information for monitoring purposes:
- System information — Hostname, operating system, OS version, architecture, and uptime
- CPU data — Processor model, core count, and utilization metrics
- Memory (RAM) — Total, used, and available memory
- Disk usage — Drive names, total capacity, used space, and available space
- Installed applications — Software names, versions, and install dates
- Network information — IP addresses (local and public), MAC addresses, and network interface details
- Service and process data — Running services and their status
1.3 Usage Data
We collect data about how you interact with the FluxWatch dashboard, including pages visited, features used, and session duration.
1.4 Billing Information
Payment processing is handled by Square. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details on our servers. Square provides us with a tokenized reference and basic transaction records.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the FluxWatch platform
- Display device monitoring dashboards and alert notifications
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Process billing and subscription payments
- Send service-related communications (alerts, updates, security notices)
- Improve and develop new features for the platform
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security threats
3. Data Storage and Security
Encryption: Data transmitted between the FluxWatch agent and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS. Sensitive data stored in our database is encrypted at rest.
Database: All collected data is stored in a secured MySQL database on infrastructure managed by NerdyTechs Labs.
Access controls: Access to production systems and customer data is restricted to authorized personnel only, using role-based access controls and secure authentication.
While we implement commercially reasonable safeguards, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Account data — Retained for the duration of your active account and for up to 30 days after account deletion to allow for recovery.
- Device monitoring data — Historical metrics and system snapshots are retained for up to 12 months. Older data may be aggregated or purged.
- Billing records — Transaction records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
- Logs — Server and application logs are retained for up to 90 days for debugging and security purposes.
You may request early deletion of your data by contacting us (see Section 9).
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Square — Payment processing for subscription billing. Square's privacy policy is available at squareup.com/legal/privacy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Cookies
FluxWatch uses session cookies for the following purposes:
- Authentication — To keep you signed in to the FluxWatch dashboard
- Session management — To maintain your session state and preferences
We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Session cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser or when your session expires.
7. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — Request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — Request deletion of your personal data

9. Children's Privacy
FluxWatch is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or through the FluxWatch dashboard.
Your continued use of FluxWatch after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
